Resolution Health Support Program

The Indian Residential School Health Support Program aims to ensure the health and safety of all former (IRS) Indian Residential School Survivors before and during all phases of the IRS Settlement Agreement including from the independent assessment process and Truth and Reconciliation and Commemoration Events, regardless of status or place of residence and offers Professional Counselling, Emotional Support, Cultural and Guidance Support or transportation services to family counselling, individual or traditional healer.

The Resolution Health Support Worker supports The Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq (the CMM) and the Resolution Health Support Program (RHSP) in the provision of cultural and emotional support and advocacy services to the Residential School (IRS) survivors and descendants, and those affected by the 60’s scoop or Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit (MMIWG2S) in the eight (8) First Nation Communities on the Mainland of Nova Scotia.
